For as long as I can remember, I have been creating stories.

As a young girl, my bedroom was my stage, pretending to be different characters I imagined. My favorite inside story line was as a patient in the hospital with a small paper dixie cup over my mouth as an oxygen mask.  Sometimes I barely survived. My favorite outside thriller was to run and hide in the woods outrunning bad guys who were chasing me. I always managed to outwit them. As I got older, the stories still came and swirled around in my head but never making their way to pen and paper.  My stories are inspired by people and real-life situations in my life or around me.  Or it might just be a silly fun read because I like to hear kids giggle as I read to them. 

Along with the continuous stories my mind was and is like a camera looking at the world through a lens.  My mind is always seeing pictures, capturing sights, emotions, and things I think most people never notice.

Nature, God’s handy work, fuels my passion to capture the beauty he created through photography and draws me closer to his heart. I am only an amateur at taking photos but hope to one day get real training.

My blessings are infinite!  I have been married to my best friend for over 34 years, have 3 amazing children, 2 incredible in-law children and 4 precious grandchildren. Since 3 of my 4 grandchildren live in Alaska, we spend much time traveling to visit and hope to have our own place there someday. I believe we will always be back and forth between Indiana and Alaska. It is now at this stage in my life that I have begun to empty out my head and put some of these stories to paper, share openly what God is teaching me and display photos of God’s incredible creation.
